The calendar is announcing that the spring should come promptly in Cincinnati but we still wear our winter coats.  Waiting for the spring, the sun is beautiful and the new restaurants downtown are flourishing…after the concert last Saturday, we had a drink at Zula restaurant.  It is very convenient to go there; the restaurant is across the music hall with a beautiful view at the Washington Park at the corner of Race Street. The restaurant is beautiful and look likes a french brasserie with a large dining room in the back.  We stayed at the counter and had the choice of a list of varied wines.  We tried the flatbreads which were excellent and we took a look at the menu that is looking good.  We surely will come back for diner…

Le printemps devrait arriver sous peu nous indique le calendrier mais pour le moment  nous portons encore nos vêtements d'hiver à Cincinnati. En attendant qu’il vienne, un beau soleil illumine notre ville et les nouveaux restaurants en centre-ville bourgeonnent de toute part…après le concert à l’orchestre symphonique, nous sommes allés prendre un verre chez Zula. C’est pratique puisque le restaurant se trouve en face du Music-hall en bordure du magnifique parc Washington sur Race Street. Pour prendre un verre on nous a proposé le comptoir. Zula ressemble à une brasserie parisienne très moderne et classique avec une large salle de restaurant au fond. La carte des vins offre un choix varié en régions du monde et les pizzas que nous avons grignotées en prenant notre verre étaient simples mais excellentes. Les moules marinières à la carte nous ont donné envie alors c’est sûr nous y retournerons pour diner…
