Teranga Connection

Having diner at La Teranga's is a unique cultural experience not only with an authentic African cuisine but also with the francophone community of Cincinnati. The name of the restaurant "La teranga" means hospitality in wolof, language spoken in Senegal, Gambia and Mauritania. The food is an authentic Senegalese cuisine made with grilled and marinated fish, lamb, chicken served with flavored and spicy rice, couscous and vegetables like plantain banana. Most of the time, clients order out their diner to enjoy at home. The place located in Wyoming is simple and the owner is very welcoming.

La Teranga signifie d'ailleurs l'hospitalité en wolof, langue parlée au Sénégal, en Gambie et en Mauritanie.  Et ce  restaurant ne désemplit pas car la cuisine sénégalaise y est simplement authentique. Viande et poisson marinés et grillés accompagnés de riz, couscous et légumes épicés et odorants. L’endroit situé près de la ville de Wyoming est simple et le propriétaire si accueillant que c’est une invitation à revenir souvent.
